Amazon Whisperer

·       Current Revenue Drivers:  Gym membership, Health Food/Drink Bar, On-Site Day Care, and Personal Training.
·       Next Product Offering:  Digestive health products
·       Describe how this "next" thing will enhance your existing product/service offering. Does it improve the user experience, does it increase customer switching costs, does it foster customer loyalty, etc.?  Offering digestive health products accompanied by face-to-face classes once a month will enhance my service offering by providing uneducated gym members with the knowledge and benefits of maintaining a healthy colon.  It will greatly benefit the user’s experience by making my gym members healthier, more energetic, reach their fitness goals faster, and significantly improve their mental and physical well being.  It definitely fosters customer loyalty because it is extremely difficult to find any fitness establishments that promote education on the importance of intestinal health.
·       Similar Amazon Product:  Amazon offers a product very similar to my next product offering which is the Colonix Advanced Internal Cleansing Program.  This product includes the Colonix daily fiber supplement,  vegeatarian capsules, and a herbal tea which is a natural laxative.  The product is a 30 day supply and made with all-natural ingredients.
                                
·       What are the customer reviews for the product? What, exactly, do customers not like about the product? What do they like about it?:  The product has an Amazon rating of 4 stars.  The common complaint amongst customers that had an issue with the product is the cramps caused by the tea which awakes them from sleep and others that say they did not see any results.  Most customers liked the results of weight loss and an increase in energy during the cleanse.  Also, customers that like the product noted that the results were significantly better with exercise as opposed to no fitness regimen.
·       Describe what design/usability changes you'd make to the product:  I would change the potency of the senna leaf in the tea to lessen the cramping effect that some customers experience during the 30 day cleanse.
·       Describe why you think this product would make a good addition to your current product/service offering:  The Colonix will enhance gym member’s overall health by promoting regular digestive health and showing customers that we care about their well-being and not only their physical aesthetic.  Augmenting my service offering with products that will help decrease current and future health problems results in loyalty.
